Hi there! I'm Emily

I am a lover of snowy mountains, cinema, positive energies, my big yellow dog, and good conversation. I believe in preserving tradition and nostalgia, but enjoy involving new and exciting aspects to everything I do.

I am freelance media artist from Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania. I graduated from DeSales University in 2022 as dual major of TV/Film and Computer Science : Digital Art. As a student, I worked as a photographer and broadcast technician for the DeSales Athletics department.

The values of my work are rooted in the phrase art is action. Photography and videography is an avenue for me to preserve memories and communicate deep messages in a beautiful way. Each of my images capture an emotion in time, delving deeper in to a person's story and being.

A variety of my projects have been featured at film festivals such as the Jim Thorpe Independent Film Festival and the DeSales University Film Festival; holding positions in editing, cinematography, and directing. I am currently employed at FGX Creative in Allentown, PA, where I work as a studio technician for e-commerce clients such as Crayola and Lasko.

Through my journey as a creative, I've had the privilege of working with so many people from a variety of backgrounds. Meeting new people and getting to know their stories has become my favorite part of what I do. I can't wait to hear from you so we can create something beautiful together.

Photography

I have 4 years of professional experience doing personalized shoots for clients; I've been brought on by Lehigh Valley Events, DeSales University, Jim Thorpe Winterfest, and Runway7, catering to a variety of settings. I am currently employed as a color corrector and photo retoucher at FGX Creative.

Editing

Films, shorts, and music videos, I have edited content which has won awards at the Jim Thorpe Film Festival, as well as the DeSales University Film Festival. With 2 years of professional experience, I am currently employed to edit content for high-profile clients such as Crayola and Lasko.

Videography

Graduating with a degree in TV/Film I have captured a variety of moments on a range of equipment, with proficiency in Cannon, Sony, and Blackmagic cameras. I have 2 years of professional videography experience, capturing weddings, sporting events, and making my own short films.
